The color digital camera captures 9.1 megapixel (3488 X 2616) high resolution images, and allows users to stream live video on their computer screen. Its built-in reduction lens gives your computer screen the same field of view images as seen through the microscope eyepieces. This camera includes user-friendly AmScope software that is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X 10.6 & up. In addition to streaming live video, this software enables users measure lengths, angles, and areas across images, record videos, and share images with ease. Still images can be edited, and saved in BMP, TIFF, JPG, PICT, PTL and other formats.
The fiber optical halogen illuminator provides even, bright, full-spectrum light illumination. The top window design of the illuminator makes it convenient to change bulbs, and the auto-shut-off mechanism cuts off electricity automatically when the window is open.
