10X loupe is the most simple, common used and portable tool that could be used  for gem identification. For example, with the help of 10X loupe, we could divide the diamond‘s internal external character and clarity into LC, VVS1, VVS2,VS1,VS2,SI1, SI2, P1,P2,P3 ten levels, with a view to this point we can easily understand 10X loupe‘s convenient use.

The common used loupe could be divided into three types, Double-convex lens, Two-mirror combination and Three-mirror combination.

Among those three types, the Three-mirror combination is most commonly used, not only for the reason of its wide field of vision, but  also it could eradicate phenomenon of image distortion and color edge. While other loupes are difficult to operate on accounting of their large multiples, small fileld of vision and short focal length.
